Download Manuals and Literature for FREE!

Many people have taken time to scan manuals and other literature to share with people like you. We do this in order to promote the free sharing of information among a growing group of enthusiasts.

If you have a manual to share, please send it to us at info@panzertractors.com. Remember to put the word 'panzer' in the subject line.

There are a lot of manuals and other info available at the Panzergardentractors Yahoo group. See the home page for a direct link. You'll have to join the group, but that's free as well!

If you appreciate being able to download this information for free, please consider a donation to the web site (see Donate Now link.) I had to buy a new scanner, which makes things a lot easier and with higher quality. I will continue to upload files as I get them.

Please ignore the 'click to download' link below - it's a 'feature' of this page.

Panzer Sales History - Allen Lawnmower

In January, 2001, Len Kutschman and Bill Janitor digitized the sales records from Allen Lawnmower in Agwam, Mass. These records hold vital information on the history of Panzer Tractors, including sales date, model, serial numbers, engine types, etc.

This information is vital to "connecting the dots" as to when models were produced and sold. If you know the type of Panzer, Meteor, Pennsylvania or Penn88 mower you have, you can cross reference it to the database and find an approximate year of manufacture. You can also determine what engine type was originally installed on your tractor. Remember that sales lagged the manufacture date, so your tractor may be a model year or so older than the sales year.

The information presented is only part of what is on the cards. We have owner names and addresses, along with attachments and sales price. If you have a tractor matching the serial number in this database, please contact us at info@panzertractors.com, and we'll send you all the info on that tractor.

We encourage the free exchange of this information as a matter of history. Our efforts were a gift to everyone interested in Panzers, and we encourage collectors to share the information.

The file is an Acrobat pdf format, which is readable by downloading Acrobat Reader from www.adobe.com.

Copar flyer circa 1958

I believe this flyer is from 1958 because:
- It includes 9hp models, introduced in 1957 with the Briggs Model 23A engine.
- It features the new Model T60, but also mentions the T55, which were probably left over from their introduction in 1957.

Copar Panzer 10AC2 front plow

This plow will fit later models (post-1958,) but the springs attach to a central eye bolt in the top middle of the grille instead of along the sides. This allows you to angle the plow without having to change the tension in the springs side to side. This plow on a 3 wheel Panzer is incredible for moving snow!

I re-scanned this file to improve the quality. I am currently restoring one of these to mount back on my Model A. I was wondering why the frame was worn so bad on my tractor until I reviewed the manual again. The clutch works against the frame to tighten the belt!

10AC2 front bulldozer / snow plow for big Panzers

I have one of these, and it works great in snow! It attaches on either side of the front nose / hood with springs to hold it up. In 1958, a center hole was drilled and tapped in to the casting as a single point for the springs to attach. Using the attachment on either side means that the springs extend and contract if you angle the blade back and forth. This is hard to work with in practice, so they improved it. All large Panzers that have the hole in the center of the casting above the P in Panzer are 1958 and newer. ...Unless the owner did that to an older tractor, which is always possible...

Panzer Party - 1999 in Petersburg, Md.

We rented a tractor club show ground in 1999 and 2000 near Harper's Ferry, WV. The pictures include tractor pulls and a group picture. I don't have the details about whom all were there, but I do have the original pictures I can re-scan. Keep in mind these were taken with a thing called a camera and it used something called film, so the clarity is not easily enhanced from what you see.

I was not in attendance at the 2000 show.

Big Panzer Chain Guard Dimensions

Many large Copar Panzers are missing the chain guard that bolts to the rear of the jack shaft casting. That's actually a good thing, since it was probably taken off to oil the chain at some point. When you find one still installed, the chain is often neglected...

Attached is a .pdf sketch of the one I made for my Model A. Dimensions were taken off of my T102. You should have enough to make a new one.

Some notes:

Material: 16 gauge sheet steel
Hole: Centered left to right (dimension not shown.)
Bend: 90 degrees, starting at the 1" line. Since a bend takes length away, the waste side should be on the bottom (wide end of the guard.)
Finish: Round off all corners.
